7e Forum mondial de l’eau : Plaidoyer en faveur de l’Agenda du développement post-2015

7e Forum mondial de l'eau s'est ouvert hier à Daegu et à Gyeongbuk, deux villes de la République de Corée. Co-organisée par le Conseil mondial de l’eau (CMC) et la République de Corée, la rencontre de cette année se tient sous le thème ‘’ L’eau pour notre futur’’, et réunira un panel varié d'experts autour des questions relatives à la gestion de la ressource hydraulique, dans l'optique de faire un plaidoyer en faveur de l’Agenda du développement post-2015. Un état des lieux doit aussi être dressé qui prend en compte les recommandations issues de la 21e session de la Conférence des Parties de l’ONU (COP 21) relative à la Convention sur le changement climatique.

A ces assises, le Gabon est représenté par une délégation de techniciens, conduite par le ministre de l’Énergie et des Ressources hydrauliques, Désiré Guedon. Car, ce rendez-vous représente une occasion pour le pays de « bénéficier non seulement de l’expertise des pays les plus avancés en la matière, mais également de débattre avec les experts venus du monde entier de plusieurs thématiques dont ‘’ la sécurité de l’eau pour tous’’ et ‘’l’eau pour le développement durable’’», souligne un communiqué émanant du ministère des Ressources hydrauliques.
